The 2012 Grammy Awards show gave Country artists the spolight this year with multiple performances & a tribute. The performances were kicked off by
Jason Aldean & Kelly Clarkson singing "Don't You Wanna' Stay," while surviving technical difficulties with Jason's mic dying half-way through the song. The duet still was pulled off & made the list as a fan favorite.
Other performances included the tribute to Glen Campbell which brought out
The Band Perry, Blake Shelton, & Taylor Swift to the stage. Glen then finished out the tribute by singing his classic tune, "Rhinestone Cowboy". The singer was still heard after the performance saying, "Do I go somewhere, or shut up?"...which gave me a chuckle. Overall though, the singer was in good spirits & it was nice to see him sing a full song on live TV. Taylor Swift deserves a mention with her twice Grammy award winning song of the evening, "Mean". The singer brought out her 'Ganjo' instrument again to complete the music video theatrical set.

The big winners of the evening included
Lady Antebellum who were shocked to take home the Country Album of the Year award. “Thanks for changing our lives, we love you,” Charles Kelley told fans. Earlier, the group told Ryan Seacrest how winning big in 2011 changed their lives. They’re now embarking on a headlining tour and are regularly topping country charts and sales charts with their album and singles. (Quote taken from:
