CSI Miami: "Flight Risk" Dropped a Bomb!

"Who knew that trapped inside of Delko was a 14 year old girl?", quoted from a poster on one of the fansites. We just knew, if we searched long enough, we'd find something that was enjoyable about Monday's CSI Miami episode, "Flight Risk". However, we doubt TPTB were going for the hearty laugh the comment produced.
For those who wasted a good hour of their time viewing this one, you'll know the reference above is to Eric's on-the-job daydreaming sequence. That and the slo-mo coffee scene were stomach churning events. "Eric and Calleigh, la-la-la-la". We agree, Natalia.
If you haven't yet seen it, any heady anticipation is misplaced. There may be a few viewers who were impressed with it; tweeners appreciative of the Eric and Calleigh moments with the soap accompanyment, Ryan fans thrilled to see his inactive mode, those studying cosmotology with no sense of style or class.

We wondered at the lack of an interesting promo and the single sentence preview, hoping we would be proven wrong. Not this time. There simply wasn't enough footage to produce a 30 second video that would grab one's attention. Apparently, the less said, the better.

The plotline of the flight attendant victim and her co-worker suspects, in our estimation, was lost in the effort to provide the obligatory "each member of the team working with every other team member" scenes. How thrilling! The character juggling has a circus quality to it: (a) Here in the Center Ring we have Eric and Calleigh; (b) Here in ring 2 we see Ryan and Natalia; (c) Here in ring 3 we have Horatio and Frank;Natalia and Dave; Horatio and Kyle; Kyle and Tara; Valera and Horatio; yada, yada, yada.
While it may not go down as the worst episode CSI Miami has ever aired, we predict it will definitely rank in the top 5! That provides hope for the next 2 weeks; they have to be an improvement.

From Kristin @ Eonline:Jessica in Wilkes-Barre, Pa.: Can we get some scoop on CSI: Miami? Are they going to continue the storyline with Eric and Callie? "We hit the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Pasadena on Sunday and breast-cancer research advocate and CSI: Miami star Emily Procter would love to see those two get together permanently: "Have you met Adam [Rodriguez]? He is a love. He is the sweetest—I love him. [The producers] were talking to me recently, and they said they didn't know if [Calleigh and Delko] were going to stay together, or if that was good, and I just said, it's good for me personally, after seven years. I promise to do extra crunches if you let me stay in this relationship." You heard the girl. Let's make it happen."http://spoilertv-csi.blogspot.com/2009/03/csi-miami-latest-from-kristin.html
