Hopefully the plot of Bride Wars won’t be playing out between Jessica Simpson and her best friend Cacee Cobb.  Jessica Simpson announced months ago that she had received an engagement ring from her boyfriend, Eric Johnson and now it’s Cacee Cobb doing the celebrating.  Cobb and her Scrubs boyfriend, Donald Faison,  have been dating for the past five years and met while Cobb was Jessica’s Simpson’s personal assistant.  Like so many celebrities these days, Faison took to his Twitter page with a hint that he had presented Cobb with an engagement ring stating “If you like it, then you better put a ring on it.”  An hour later his now fiancée took to her Twitter page announcing “If she likes it, then she better say YES!”  No news as to when the couple will exchange wedding bands, but one has to wonder who will walk down the aisle first…Simpson or Cobb?  This will be Faison’s second trip down the aisle, as the actor was previously married to Lisa Askey.
