With
Lance Armstrong long gone from the world of competitive cycling,
Cadel Evans not only emerged as an honorable and respected replacement, but he also landed real high on
AskMen's Top 49 Most Influential Men of 2011 list.
Evans became the first Australian to ever win the Tour de France this past year. And at 34-years-old, he can also claim the title as the oldest man to win in 88 years. Better yet: his victory didn't include any doping allegations! He's fast, clean, and looks great in a yellow skin-tight racing suit.
In its annual rundown of the 49 Most Influential Men, AskMen gathered more than 200,000 reader votes, along with their own editorial team's opinions, to compile a 2011 list that includes newsmakers ranging from actors to athletes to politicians and other visionaries in between. Whether through inspiration or contribution, these men defined 2011.
