ElBaradei joins protesters in Tahrir Square in downtown Cairo

CAIRO, Jan. 30 (Xinhua) — Egyptian opposition leader Mohamed ElBaradei joined protesters in Tahrir Square in downtown Cairo late Sunday, Al Jazeera TV reported.

Thousands of people are still gathering in the Tahrir Square on the sixth day of protests in Egypt, defying a curfew from 4:00 p.m. (1400 GMT) to 8 a.m. (0600 GMT).
