Outside Lands, San Francisco's largest annual music festival, is just a week away. And with the recent release of the 3-day event's schedule, fans are getting antsy with anticipation.
With the release of this year's
Outside Lands festival schedule, the only thing for fans of music to do is plan out their trip, or score themselves a ticket (if they haven't already). There's more than 70 bands set to play, but with some creative planning you should be able to get mostly everyone you want to see without too much heartbreak.
Some of the schedule's highlights: MGMT plays early -- they hit the big stage on Friday at 4:35 pm. Assuming it isn't foggy and you can see them play, it should be a great start to a rocking evening.
Girl Talk will end Friday's night, meaning you'll be nice and sweaty when it comes time to wait for hours outside the venue searching for a cab ride home. All in all, the city's largest music festival should go down as a great one. Especially if you like jam bands.
Still haven't gotten your tickets? Well, you'll be glad to know there's a few sites, blogs and radio stations
giving some away. So cross your fingers, put on your lucky song, pet the bunny's foot and pray to whatever higher entity you believe in, because you probably won't win any. But hey, you can try!
