Do you have a document that needs to be authenticated by a California Apostille prior to being sent internationally?

Apostille is a French word meaning certification. It is commonly used in English to refer to the legalization of a document for international use under the terms of the 1961 Hague Convention Abolishing the Requirement of Legalization for Foreign Public Documents.

Members of the conference adopted a document referred to as an Apostille that would be recognized by all member nations.

Documents sent to member nations, completed with an Apostille at the State of CA level, may be submitted directly to the member nation without further action.

I'm gonna give these guys a plug because they're so nice and friendly. Went in there earlier this week to get the affadavit for that BBQ I won last week notarized. One of their gals is a notary public. It's not often I go somewhere where the people actually act like they're interested in what I have to say so, this is their moment on my blog. They do copies, sell scrapbooking supplies and, of course, have a notary public on staff.
