Is Islamic Relief USA Supporting Terrorism?
Islamic Relief USA has been one of the organizations who are aiming to provide help to all humans in crisis regardless of their races, religions, or political orientations.
Millions of needy people around the world have been benefiting from the efforts of this world wide organization and its generous donors and supporters around the world for years now. The numbers of donors and supporters of Islamic Relief has been rapidly increasing along with the wide spread of the organization's activities around the world.
Islamic Relief USA is also relaying on a world wide spread group of volunteers to deliver its services and aids to all needy people around the world. These volunteers are highly educated and sophisticated professionals who are giving big portions of their precious times to help make the world a better place.
Recently, some baseless claims spread in the media that Islamic Relief has some connections to Hamas and that the organization is somehow supporting terrorism. This can be expected among human race as "The higher is your tree, the more it catches wind".
These claims started to show up on the surface when Islamic Relief was trying hard to help the sieged people in Gaza back in 2009. The organization existed in Palestine since 1994 and has an office in Gaza since 1998. It has been securing essential medical supplies and equipments to the local hospitals, distributing food parcels and blankets, helping in providing clean water to families, and providing psychosocial aid to thousand of terrified young children. Islamic Relief is continuing to provide these essential services to the sieged people in Gaza despite the hardships and difficulties its staff suffering day after day within the terrorist environment caused by illegal occupation practices.
The United Nations in several of its resolutions regarding the Palestinian case has rejected and called to end the illegal occupation of the Palestinian lands and also the siege of Gaza. Which gives the Palestinian people the right to defend their lands and fight against the occupier as one of their human rights that can never be named terrorism. On the other hand, every wise around the world has witnessed the true terrorism in Palestine by killing innocent women, children and unarmed men inside the schools, hospitals, and mosques of Gaza using internationally prohibited weapons in the air strikes of 2008 and 2009.
It is very obvious to every wise that "Islamic Relief Terrorism" claims are aiming to disturb and stop the important efforts Islamic Relief has to offer to the Palestinian people and the sieged women and children in Gaza, however, the brave men and women of Islamic Relief volunteers are insisting to continue their efforts in Palestine and Gaza with no fear. They understand that more than 50000 homeless in Gaza are relying on their help and they are determined to provide this help even under the fires of war.
