After 7 seasons with the Rescue Me “boys club,” Callie Thorne says she can some-more than reason her own with the guys.

“I grown my own lorry motorist mouth,” the singer tells PEOPLE with a laugh. But when the expel filmed the last deteriorate – which will air Wednesdays (10 p.m. ET) on FX – the squad of difficult guys malleable up.

“The last days of Rescue Me were terrible,” she says. “There were a lot of tears. Especially when people heard, ‘That’s a array hang on Denis Leary.’ A lot of the guys got unequivocally choked up.”

Even the man who helmed the series?

“Denis didn’t cry, though he was really quiet,” says Thorne. “Which is a large understanding for Denis Leary.”

Still, Thorne says the greeting done her feel great because, “the show overwhelmed everyone that deeply,” she explains. “This was a family – 7 years together. The set of Rescue Me was our stadium and our home.”

Luckily, she’s got a new plan to keep her busy: Thorne stars on the new USA array Necessary Roughness, which also front Wednesdays (10 p.m. ET).

“It’s the millennium,” she jokes of carrying dual shows on at the same time. “You can TiVo!”
