A brief glimpse of Eva Mendes and her breast has sent the U.S. network censors a muck, but that split second of nip-a-lation is now roaming free online, the uncensored version of Calvin Klein’s “Secret Obsession” spot is all over YouTube. The ad’s creative director, Fabien Baron, says George W. Bush is to blame for the spot’s chilly reception at the networks. “You must be kidding me,” he tells Women's Wear Daily. "This country really needs a new president—this country is so messed up. It’s such a joke, and it’s quite upsetting, frankly, how hypocritical this country has become. Spreading a little love right now would be a good idea. ... She is being a little sexy, but the ads are not provocative. They are really well done. The spot is really beautiful—I really can’t believe this is happening. ... I don’t know what else to say.”
