As they say, 70,000,000 gun owners DIDN'T shoot themselves or anyone else today - so guess who makes it into the paper?I admit to sleeping with a unloaded rifle nearby on hunting trips when we have game hanging but havent felt the need just camping. I figure any handgun that could kill a bear would be a) a pain to lug around, b) is too much responsibility, and c) I dont want to be 'that guy' that has to carry his gun everywhere.
