A bit of an A List magnet and a major event in the film industry calendar, this in film circles is regarded by most as the biggest film festival. Directors Quentin Tarantino, Ang Lee and Pedro Almodovar (Getty Images) Cannes Film Festival officials put speculations to rest today when they revealed the official selection of films to be screened at the event. Interestingly, director Quentin Tarantino will be the only American director to show his work, the WWII epic Inglourious Basterds starring Brad Pitt .
