Digital 8 tape from a Sony TRV255E PAL camcorder to Vista computer without driver CD?

I bought a Sony TRV255E PAL camcorder a while ago and had the software on my computer, though now I’ve upgraded to Vista and lost the software/ Drivers disc. I want to get the footage off the tape and onto the computer. I tried to get the drivers from Sony but they wanted the CD key, which is with the disc I lost. Any suggestions?
