Fiat India is doing ok in the Indian market in terms of sales to counter attack and increase the sales, the company (Tata Motors) which is currently responsible for the sales and service of Fiat cars in India is currently aiming to sell 20000 units of car sales in India during the 2012 calendar year. Fiat India managed to sell 18000 units in the year 2011 according to Piyush Lall, assistant general manager (Fiat brands), Tata Motors.
The company recently launched the 2012 Fiat Linea and Punto in Hyderabad.

During the launch, Lall said, “With the rising demand for diesel cars and Fiat focusing more on diesel variants, we are hopeful of crossing the target.”
2012 Fiat Linea and Punto is offered with split foldable seats, brighter ivory and grey interior colours, power windows, rain-sensing wipers and 190-mm (Linea) and 195-mm (Punto) ground clearance.
