I've been a bad blogger!
Cooooeeee I'm still here. I've been neglecting my blog lately as I'm having to work full time and just don't seem to be able to fit in my card making at the moment. I've been itching all week to make something and have had a couple of spare hours today and have come up with this card for the Papertake Weekly challenge which is called Violets are blue! The brief this week is to make a card using the colours violet and blue and as Valentines day is looming I thought I had better get cracking and start making some cards.
Supplies used:-
Cuttlebug embossing folder - Traffic Jam
White pearlescent card
Purple plain card
Backing paper from the Ingeborg's Garden Paper Pack from Cens Loft
Lilac ribbon, turquoise ribbon from stash
Turquoise ric rac
Scalloped ribbon border - designed by myself and cut on the Craft Robo
Hearts:- Cut from purple paper from the Brenda Pinnick Signature series and turquoise pearlescent paper using the 'George and Basic Shapes' cartridge on Cricut.
Sentiments - using the same paper as above but from the 'New Arrival' cartridge from Cricut
Purple flower gems
Stickles added to hearts and sentiments
I really enjoyed making this card and loved playing with my new Cricut.
I'm off to start another card now.
