Carina Schlesinger, a former model, is dead at 36 after she allegedly shot her boyfriend Daniel Cresci, burned her house down, then used the same gun to end her own life. According to SevenSideCube.net, the murder-suicide occurred Wednesday in New Jersey.

Apparently firefighters responded to the scene after the fire was reported, and then Carina and Daniel's remains were found in the house. Authorities identified the bodies, but do not have a motive. Sources say their 18-month relationship had been rocky.

Schlesinger made headlines about 6 years ago when she fought off a man who tried to attack her in Central Park. She had been running a dog obedience business, while Cresci, 29, was a lawyer.
