Carlos Edward Tello was a 52-year-old man who jumped to his death from a Southern California courthouse balcony just hours after being convicted of child molestation.

On June 12, 1986, Anthony Charles Fritz, pled guilty to Attempted Sexual Conduct with a Minor.
On March 26, 1993,Fritz pled guilty to Child Molestation and Attempted Child Molestation. This repeat offender was released from prison on March 23, 2007. On June 22 of this year, Fritz, on probation, cut loose from his tracking device and disappeared. On June 23 a probation violation was issued.
