Chicago-- With left-hander Paul Maholm starting for the Chicago Cubs, the Milwaukee Brewers start their usual lineup featuring Carlos Gomez in center field and batting second, Alex Gonzalez hitting sixth and Mat Gamel hitting seventh.  

The dispute has stalled the organization of a run-off poll between the two presidential frontrunners, former Prime Minister Carlos Gomez and former President Kumba Yala, with the latter alleging fraud in the first round balloting.  

The Brewers employed the same tactic in the eighth, this time a safety squeeze, with Carlos Gomez’s bunt scoring Alex Gonzalez. The Cubs didn’t even attempt a throw home in either situation as both times the players scored easily.

Gamel bruised the shoulder in a home plate collision on Monday and with the off day Thursday, by sitting out today, he can get three days off. Here is the Brewers' lineup for the 12:10 p.m. game: 2B Rickie Weeks CF Carlos Gomez  

Gee has not won in three starts. NOTE: Brewers OF Carlos Gomez (strained left hamstring) is set to begin a rehab assignment with Class-A Wisconsin today. Manager Ron Roenicke said he should be back Sunday.  

Also on the medical front, outfielder Carlos Gomez (hamstring) began a rehab stint with Class A Wisconsin last night. Gomez started in center and went 0 for 3 with a run scored in a 5-inning stint.
