Carlos Quentin is a man-beast
Carlos Quentin hit his league leading 7th HR yesterday, which capped off quite a weekend for the White Sox. They pounded out 48 hits over the 4 game series, including 7 HR’s, 3 of which were by Quentin. The Sox only blunder of the 4 game set in Tampa where they struggled mightily last year, including their first round exit from the playoffs: Matt Thorton gave up a grand slam in the 2nd game, which led to the only loss of the series. All in all things are pointing in the right direction for the Sox, and Quentin looks like he wants the MVP trophy that he robbed himself of last year.
