Carlton Cuse, best known as the showrunner for ABC’s hit series Lost with Damon Lindelof, has been hired to work on The Bates Motel, a series under development for A&E that will act as a prequel to Alfred Hitchcock’s 1960 classic Psycho. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Cuse will act as an executive producer and will oversee writing and production.
