She Has Got My Vote
Mayor Carmen Kontur-Gronquist of Arlington, Oregon is facing a recall petition for being a hottie. The recall drive in this 500 person town in Eastern Oregon got started when residents were tipped off to some racy picture of Her Honor posing in her undies on a city fire truck. The photos were taken three years before she was elected mayor and were posted on Carmen’s MySpace Page.
Don’t bother to search for them, they have already been blocked to all but her friends.
In an interview with the (Pendleton) East Oregonian, the mayor said she did nothing wrong and those who are offended need to get over it.
“That’s my personal life,” she said. “It has nothing to do with my mayor’s position.” “I’m not going to change who I am,” she said. “There’s a lot of officials that have a personal life, and you have people in this community who have nothing better to do than scrape up stuff like this.”
Way to go Carmen.
The Folks in Arlington should count themselves as fortunate for not having anything bigger to worry about.
