Carol Burnett is undoubtably the best gag comedian that there is. For eleven years she and her cast of zainy friends comforted us once a week with their slap stick comedy skits. Who remembers Mrs. Whiggins? The satire of the well known broadway shows, Harvey Koreman teaming up with Tim Conway, an unbeatable team that left you crying with laughter. The skit that satired Gone With The Wind which showed the comic expertise of each of these individuals.

Carol Burnet would open the show each week by talking to the audience, interacting back in the '70's much like we do today on Squiddo, Twitter and Facebook.
