Carol Channing
Family spokesman B. Harlan Boll says Kullijian collapsed Monday at the couple’s Rancho Mirage home and he died at Eisenhower Medical Center. Boll says the cause of death was an aneurysm.
The onetime Modesto walnut farmer served two terms on the Modesto council.
Afterward, he became one of the founders of Citizens Leading Effective Action Now, or CLEAN, to fight prnography.
Killijian and Channing went to the same middle school in San Francisco. After the death of his first wife in 2002, Killijian and Channing were reunited and they married in 2004.
They formed the Los Altos-based Channing-Kullijian Foundation ( www.channingarts.org) to support arts education in schools.
