Carolina Kostner gave Italy their first ever women's figure skating gold at the world championships here on Saturday.The 25-year-old took the title ahead of Russia's Alena Leonova, with Akiko Suzuki of Japan taking bronze after the free skating final.It is the fourth world medal for four-time European champion Kostner, who won bronze in 2005 and 2011 and silver in 2008.
