Caroline Giuliani, Rudy Giuliani’s Daughter Caught Shoplifting!
It’s one of those stories that makes you shake your head. Caroline Giuliani, daughter of the former Mayor of New York City, Rudy Giuliani was was caught stealing more than $150 worth of cosmetics at a Sephora store in NYC on Wednesday.
The 20-year-old Giuliani is a student enrolled at Harvard, but seems to have had a temporary (I hope) lapse of reason that caused her to get arrested for shoplifting at the upper East Side beauty store.
Reports state that a store security guard found five cosmetic items stuffed in the pockets of Caroline Giuliani’s jacket. Police are checking out the videotapes to see if the crime was captured on tape. (why do I see a viral YouTube video coming up?)
I guess it really doesn’t matter what you’re lineage is or how you were raised or what privilege’s you were afforded. You can still end up doing something untoward.
But let’s not be too hard on young Ms. Giuliani. After all, who among us has not done something they regret back in their college days. It’s just that none of us has a Dad known as America’s Mayor and was the face of our nation rising from it’s worst tragedy.
We’re not attorney’s or anything so we have to say she is innocent till proven guilty…but that’s for the shoplifting charge. I think we can all agree that she is most assuredly guilty of being a typical, stupid, probably drunk college kid.
I can’t throw any stones but I can only imagine having to tell Rudy that his daughter was in the pokey. Ouch!
