Carrie Marie Underwood is an American country music singer who won the title of the fourth season of American Idol. She has since become a multi-platinum selling recording artist. Her debut album, Some Hearts, was certified quadruple platinum, and is the fastest selling female country album since the introduction of the Nielsen SoundScan in 1991. Her major awards include three Billboard Music Awards, a Dove Award, two Academy of Country Music Awards and two Country Music Association Awards including Female Vocalist Of The Year and the Horizon Award. She also won an American Music Awards for Breakthrough Artist of the Year, beating out Chamillionaire and The Pussycat Dolls. Underwood has also won an Inspirational Country Award for Mainstream Country Artist of the Year.

In the list of annoying things girlfriends just shouldn't do, checking their man's cell phone for strange numbers ranks right up there with asking why he can't just leave it on one channel ("Just because..." is the answer you'll invariably get, ladies). But that's what Jessica Simpson owned up to in an interview on a Nashville radio station when asked whether her boyfriend Tony Romo and his ex Carrie Underwood did still keep in touch like the country singer alleged in the latest issue of Allure (um, which we missed). Simpson laughed it off, saying that she and Romo couldn't believe it when they read it, and when pressured even further by the Nashville DJ's, she let it be known that she's not above checking his phone'd call log when he's not looking. We'd never thought we'd say this, but T.O. might be the most dependable relationship Romo's got right now. Video after the jump.
