Carrie Underwood

Carrie Marie Underwood (born March 10, 1983) is an American country music singer who won the fourth season of American Idol. She has since become a multi-platinum selling recording artist. Her debut album, "Some Hearts," was certified quadruple platinum, and is the fastest selling female country album since the introduction of the Nielsen SoundScan in 1991.

Her major awards include three Billboard Music Awards, a Dove Award, two Academy of Country Music Awards and two Country Music Association Awards including Female Vocalist Of The Year and the Horizon Award. She also won an American Music Awards for Breakthrough Artist of the Year, beating out Chamillionaire and The Pussycat Dolls. Underwood has also won an Inspirational Country Award for Mainstream Country Artist of the Year.

Carrie Underwood Has Dinner with Mike Fisher's Parents

Carrie Underwood and hockey player Mike Fisher have been dating since January, but they've both been trying to keep things on the down low. Something tells me Underwood would rather stay out of the Hollywood romance circuit after her relationship with Tony Romo went sour and he started dating Jessica Simpson. Ouch.

Here Carrie is ducking out of view when a camera catches her on the big screen at one of Fisher's games:

Anyway, even if they aren't talking about their romance publicly, People reports that Carrie has been cozying up with Fisher's parentals. The four were out last Saturday at Fratelli in Ottawa after Carrie and the Fishers cheered Mike on from a VIP box seat at his hockey game. A source said:
It was very low-key. They sat a private table and did their own thing. [The couple] seemed incredibly happy. They seem made for each other.
The day before, Carrie and Mike had spent the afternoon shopping at the mall in Ottawa, where Fisher tagged along to BCBG and Sephora. A hockey player who's willing to carry her shopping bags and has personable parents? Carrie's luck is looking up.
