Casey Anthony

Casey Anthony

Casey Anthony is the mother of the missing 2-year-old Caylee Marie Anthony. She has so far been uncooperative with authorities investigating the disappearance of her daughter.

'Bounty Hunter' To Post Bond for Caylee's Mom

The latest misfit to get involved in the Caylee Anthony case is a very minor television celebrity: Leonard Padilla , star of National Geographic's "Bounty Hunter."

Leonard padilla picturePadilla and his nephew, Tony Padilla, have said they plan to post the half million bucks it'll take to spring Caylee's mother, Casey from jail because they think she can lead them to the girl.

While the Padillas' combined optimism is inspiring, it is also completely misplaced. For two men who have to rely on their bullshit detectors daily, one would think they could sniff out the pile Casey Anthony is shoveling.

Yes yes, I know. I'm being biased, but Casey Anthony is hiding something and it's probably more than a little dark.

I get the logic. These two have been around the block and they think they can gain Casey's confidence and get her to help them find little Caylee. But I'd be surprised if she tells them anything more than where they can find the nearest exit.

These bounty hunters are playing things fast and loose. They might be seeking fame and fortune as the duo that found Caylee Anthony. They've estimated it will take them five days to do so. But let's not forget they could be giving a murderous mother a get out of jail free ticket.

It could only be worse if they claimed to be psychic.
