Casey Anthony, the Florida woman who was charged with killing her 2-year-old daughter Caylee Marie Anthony in 2008, was back in court today. Casey's mother and brother could take the stand today in Orlando, though the defense claims the 911 calls that they'll be questioned about are hearsay and should not be admitted.
Casey Anthony (CNN) Casey's mother Cindy will have to answer questions about three 911 calls she made in July 2008, upon finding her daughter and learning that her granddaughter had been missing for a month. Casey claimed the girl was with her nanny -- which prosecutors argue was a fabricated story.
The cause of Caylee's death is still unknown, but tape was found on her remains, which were found out in the woods about a quarter mile away from Anthony's home in December 2008. The defense has requested that the judge bar Casey from the death penalty because the cause of death is unknown.
