Detroit Lions tight end Casey FitzSimmons Brandon Pettigrew #84 Detroit Lions tight ends Brandon Pettigrew and Casey FitzSimmons missed today's training camp practice with injuries that could keep them out a few days. Pettigrew, the 20th pick in the NFL draft, tweaked a quadriceps muscle Sunday afternoon before FitzSimmons suffered a high ankle sprain. The Detroit Lions have sold out the Thanksgiving game against Green Bay, avoiding a local TV blackout. Lions spokesman Bill Keenist confirmed the sellout Monday, one day after Detroit won its second game of the season on the final play for a 38-37 victory over the Browns.
