The Pittsburgh Steelers have agreed to a deal with nose tackle Casey Hampton and placed the franchise tag on kicker Jeff Reed. ESPN first reported the agreement with Hampton, and Kevin Colbert, the team's director of football operations, confirmed it Thursday at the NFL Scouting Combine. For the first time since playing for the Steelers, Ben Roethlisberger and Jeff Reed were named captains.
