And he declined to stay on the practice squad. The Kansas City Chiefs have cut former CFL star Casey Printers, a Vancouver radio station reports. According to CKNW, the Chiefs reportedly offered to keep Printers on the practice roster, but he declined, and will go on the 24-hour waiver wire on Saturday. The station also reports that Printers wants to sign with an NFL team by next week, but if he doesn't, he will turn his attention to the CFL. More cuts will be coming today. This is... Casey Printers' football odyssey is over. He has signed with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the CFL. And he's getting paid big time by CFL standards. The 26-year-old quarterback will sign a multi-year deal that will make him the highest paid player in the Canadian Football League at about $500,000 per season.
