I have always been intimidated by Cat Cora's cooking, after all she IS an Iron Chef. But after trying out a few of the recipes in this book, I realize that she knows how to write a recipe for a home cook life myself. Every recipe in the book is mouthwatering. Her tomato soup with mini grilled cheese croutons has become a weekly staple in my house. The recipes are loaded with flavors and have influences from many cuisines....Greek, Asian, Italian, Mexican... Her instructions are easy to follow and every recipe I have tried has come out delicious. This is a fantastic cookbook!

The Halibut recipe in this book is absolutely wonderful! It is very easy to follow and uses ingredients that are already stocked in my kitchen. Great for a quick meal during the week; the family thought I really spent a lot of time on it. The most important thing about this recipe and other recipes in the book is that it is very health conscience. Recipes are low fat, quick and best of all -GREAT TASTING! Cat Cora is now my favorite chef!
