Former Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke is leaving the fang'ds behind with a new project called Red Riding Hood, starring Amanda Seyfried. Hardwicke has enlisted the help of Brian Reitzell, music supervisor of many of Sofia Coppola's films and Stranger Than Fiction, to shape the soundtrack.
Reitzell, above, is a former member of the Hawthorne (California) band Red Kross. Redd Kross is one of many bands featured on WMFU's mega compilation of musicians that have covered the Led Zeppelin's Stairway to Heaven. My favorites are the Ricki Lee Jones impersonator in the SCTV commercial and Dolly Parton.
