Why Faith Is Important

Faith is a strong ally. It is Faith in the Lord that allows me to live as happily as I do. It is Faith in my family that makes me a good member. It is Faith in my fellow man that allows me to be a good citizen of the world. Faith is my cornerstone.

Now it is not God's fault that I sin. It is not lack of Faith that makes me question. I am not special I am merely a flawed man who is trying to do good. I am merely a servant of the Lord and I try to do his will.

In this society, Faith has almost become a dirty word. It is constantly mocked by comedians and Reporters. It isn't easy to be a man who loves God. It is also easy to listen to the criticism and follow. After all can all those people be wrong? Why yes they can.

God is almighty but it is our faith in Him that allows us to see his miracles. Are we too displaced from our faith to allow God to come into our lives. Perhaps we are. I for one have walked down dark paths and assumed I was alone. I have been wrong. I was never alone, I only chose not to see the truth.

I feel that it is not my place to judge my fellow man, God will judge. I also feel it is not my place to preach, That is why we have priests. I am merely sharing my views on God.

When I read about all the death and destruction happening in the World, I am saddened. When I hear about the constant struggle by so many to find something to believe in, I am saddened. You here politicians every day either quoting God or Jesus and laying lies to their tongues. By the nature of the American Political process which has infested the World society at large, God is a playing card. You must believe in God and never show humility. Why? God does not need these Men and Women to show public fidelity. God needs them to show private contrition. Pastor's who allow Political speeches from their pulpit sadden me.

God is infinite and just. It is man who must show humility before the Lord and man who must praise his name. I am just as guilty as any in forgetting that God created us. I don't care what assumption you believe about the creation of the world. I know that I am not smart enough to understand God. I know whether Eden existed or the Dinosaur's or anything else. It was created by the Lord. Just because man has been wrong about how it began doesn't mean God didn't create it.
