Worst Celebrity Hairstyles

We may look to the stars for style cues, but sometimes we would be better off just looking away.  Some celebs try a little too hard to push the style envelope and end up forfeiting their dignity.  Here are the worst fashion atrocities to be committed by stars in the spotlight.


1. Amy Winehouse Sans Hive

There are lots of rumors circulating about the true purpose of Amy's signature beehive, none of which I care to dispel.  Amy tried to go for a platinum look for a few weeks last year, but returned to her hairnest when she realized the "Corpse Bride" look was so 2004.




2. Christina Aguilera 's Faux Fro

Christina Aguilera has said that she felt this look really summed up this point in her life.  This makes me wonder if at that point in her life Christina Aguilera was really a man trying to dress up as a woman.








3.  Christina Aguilera 's Color Atrocities

You may remember the VMAs when Christina Aguilera showed up in a ratty skank skirt with a scarf tied precariously around her jubblies.  This was to detract attention from the black and blue Bo Derek braids that complemented the clown paint on her face.








4. Clay Aiken 's Manly Mane

5. Nick Nolte 's Mugshot Wonder

This photo still holds a special place in my heart.  Note to Nick Nolte: if you want to convince police that you're not totally blitzed then maybe you shouldn't trade hair with a homeless poodle.
