Celebrity Playlist: Ashley Greene's Favorite Songs

Ashley Greene (Getty Images) Ashley Greene spends a lot of time hitting the biggest concerts in Los Angeles, but it's partly because she's actually friends with half the talent.

Greene, 24, has personal ties to a bunch of stars on the Billboard charts, from the Kings of Leon's Jared Followill, her alleged ex-boyfriend, to Demi Lovato, with whom she shares another famous ex, Joe Jonas. Check out Greene's Twitter feed at any given point and you might catch her swapping tweets with the next Hollywood Bowl headliner.

But though Greene obviously has an appreciation for her Top 40 friends, a look at the playlist she assembled for iTunes reveals that she's still really into a lot of the alternative music she listened to during her adolescence. Check out these songs culled from Ashley Greene's favorites:

1. Counting Crows' "Colorblind"

Like her Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart, Ashley finds it helpful to use music to prepare for her film roles. She explained of this Counting Crows tune, "This one I use, without fail, every time." The next time you see Greene's miserable pout on screen, think of this song.

2. Sia's "Breathe Me"

Ashley didn't feel the need to explain her love for this song, as she simply stated, "There are some songs that you just love... just because."

Since its pitch-perfect use in the series finale of Six Feet Under a few years ago, Sia's "Breathe Me" has become a modern classic.

3. The Pretty Reckless' "Miss Nothing"

Say what you will about former Gossip Girl star Taylor Momsen and her abject refusal to wear pants, but she's got the support of Ashley Greene! A few months ago, Greene told one of her Twitter followers, "I kind of love anything by The Pretty Reckless right now."
