Sweet revenge: Taylor Swift pokes fun at Kanye West and Joe Jonas in ‘Saturday Night Live’ monologue

Taylor Swift helped revive “Saturday Night Live’s” lackluster season with a new episode in which she played host and musical guest.

The country cutie got down right to business and addressed the tabloid buzz surrounding her personal life during the show’s opening monologue.

With a guitar in hand, Swift sang “Monologue Song (La La La), a melody with lyrics that poked fun of her VMA nemesis Kanye West.

“You might be expecting me to say something bad about Kanye and how he ran up on the stage and ruined my VMA monologue,” Swift sang. “But there’s nothing more to say, ’cause everything’s okay. I’ve got security lining the stage.”

The 19-year-old songstress also mentioned her bitter split with ex Joe Jonas, who she famously sang about in her hit single, “Forever and Always.”

“You might think I’d bring up Joe Jonas, that guy who broke up with me on the phone, but I’m not gonna mention him in my monologue,” she sang. “Hey Joe, I’m doing real well. Tonight, I’m hosting SNL but I’m not gonna brag about that in my monologue. La la la. Ha ha ha.”

Raising more suspicion about her current dating life, Swift hinted about her rumored boyfriend, “Twilight” star Taylor Lautner.

“And if you’re wondering if I might be dating the werewolf from ‘Twilight,’” she sang, before mouthing “Hi Taylor” and blowing a kiss and winking at the camera. “I’m not gonna comment on that in my monologue.”

During the rest of last night’s episode, Swift had the comedic timing needed to be a great “SNL” host and proved she’s more than just a one-trick pony.

The singer drew laughs during various skits such as a parody of “The View” in which Swift donned a Kate Gosselin wig to imitate the reality TV mom, a public-service commercial about texting while driving and a “Twilight” spoof about a Frankenstein-monster family.
