Celebrity Prom Inspiration 2010: Miley Cyrus in Zuhair Murad

Miley Cyrus has worn some one-of-a-kind creations over the course of her career, from the glittering scalloped Zuhair Murad gown she wore to the 2009 Oscars to the plunging orange dress she donned to meet the Queen of England. While Miley has a more eclectic approach to the red carpet than, say, Taylor Swift, it's not hard to find a prom look of which Miley would approve.

Terani Tiered Evening Gown

This Terani 2010 evening dress clearly takes its inspiration from the over-the-top scalloped Zuhair Murad couture gown Miley wore to the 2009 Academy Awards. Fortunately, the dress does not come with quite such a voluminous skirt, making it much easier to navigate the limo and the dance floor. Nicole Miller Cross-back Silk Charmeuse Gown

This dress looks almost exactly like the gown Miley wore to meet the Queen of England (see above far right). Fortunately, this dress doesn't feature such a scandalous plunge, so you'll probably fare okay if your school has a dress code. The gown is on sale for $239.99 at Macys.

ABS by Allen Schwartz Gold Chiffon Gown

This gold chiffon gown with a delightful jeweled bodice is very similar to the gorgeous Jenny Packham dress Miley wore to the 2010 Oscars. It features the same neckline and fitted waist, although it will hopefully look more comfortable than Miley's too-tight dress! The gown is available on pre-order for $400 on edressme.com.
