Will Ferrell, 'Superstar' (1999)
SNL spin-offs are very hit or miss. Molly Shannon's socially clumbsy character Mary Katherine Gallagher sadly fell a bit short. The film only made $30 million (which was more than it cost to make at least), but Will Ferrell's role was generally well-received.
