I try to avoid impulse shopping by going into a store already knowing what I want/need to buy, or waiting a few days to decide if I truly want/need it. And when I can’t stop obsessing over something in my head, it becomes a must-have. Such was the case with this striped J. Crew shirt and this neon/fluoro/hot pink Celine Leather Luggage Tote. I first saw the bag online on Savannah Brinson (Lebron’s fiancee). I own an olive green/black version of the bag and love it, and pink is my favorite color so naturally I had to have it, and finally managed to track one down. The color is several shades brighter than what you see in these photos (so much so that a guy in Starbucks commented, incredulously: “That is the brightest bag I have ever seen!” Then he instructed his young son to look at it too, for further affirmation.) LOL!

Anyways, I also came across this striped blouse in J. Crew (which I am newly obsessed with, thanks to Jenna Lyons‘ creative direction). I love that the blouse is seasonless – it can be rocked easily in winter or spring – and pairs nicely with pretty much anything, especially my pops of pink.
