Zeolite Liquid and Zeolite Powder
What's the Difference?
Boy I get frustrated sometimes with the Powder vs. Liquid Zeolite debate. Many people have read a "response" paper put out by the powdered zeolite guy. Unless you really understand what zeolite is, his stuff sounds quite plausible. It's really nothing more than clever marketing.
Powdered zeolite has its benefits, don't get me wrong. If you have diarrhea then the powdered zeolite is the one you should take. The only other reason to buy powdered zeolite is if you want to clean nitrates out of the intestines.
Powdered zeolite, pure and simple, does NOT get through the bowel wall into the blood stream. Some of the powdered zeolite people say it doesn't need to. That because the blood flows flows abundantly past the bowel, the zeolite can suck the toxins out of the blood that way, and you know what? That may be true. HOWEVER, if you know anything about heavy metals toxicity, or herbicides, pesticides, endocrine disruptors and the like, then you know that most of the toxins we are trying to reach with zeolite are not circulating in the blood. If they were, then the liver and kidney could filter them out.
The problem with these kinds of toxic compounds is that they grab on to nerve endings and receptors, bury themselves in brain tissue, masquerade as hormones and block crucial communication pathways in muscle and nerve tissue. You must have something that can get into the blood stream and go after them. Zeolite does that.
The second problem with zeolite powder is that it hasn't been emptied, or cleaned, of the toxins that are already in there. You see, zeolite is mined, and doesn't it make sense that it it grabs onto toxins and heavy metals like a magnet in your body, then it must do that in nature too? The bond between zeolite and a molecule like mercury or cadmium is extremely strong. This is good when it is in your body. The last thing you want is for zeolite to release the mercury somewhere else. You want the zeolite to hang on to those toxins until they can transport them out of the body.
The liquid zeolite response paper says that hydrochloric acid is used to "liquefy" the zeolite mineral. Immediately, this gent is showing his lack of knowledge about the zeolite molecule. Zeolite CAN NOT be liquefied, and Liquid Zeolite is not a zeolite that has magically been liquefied. A mild acid bath is indeed used in the processing of the original liquid zeolite product, but it is used to clean the metals and toxins out of the product before you ingest them. Liquid zeolite is, therefore, micronized cleaned zeolite suspended in liquid (water). Acid doesn't destroy the zeolite. It cleans it. Of course there is more to the process of cleaning it than just an acid bath. If it were that simple the problem would be solved and everyone would be doing it.
Don't be tricked by a zeolite-av "expert" in a lab coat. The lab coat is a costume. It is worn so you might make an assumption, but this guy is no doctor, nor is he a scientist. He is a saleman. Despite the fact that he calls himself a zeolite expert, he somehow believes that liquid zeolite is actually zeolite that has been magically transformed into a liquefied pool of ingredients. I know you can see through tricks like that when you are searching for the truth.
Unclean zeolite doesn't work as well, because it is already pretty full of toxins. Some people buy powdered zeolite because they get so much more and they may be fooled into thinking the original liquid zeolite product is too expensive. Think about this for a moment. If you purchase zeolite for $25 dollars that doesn't work very well, did you save $23 dollars? Or did you waste $25?
