Last year was not a good time to be a Cincinnati Bengals fan. The team, with a high powered offense and high expectations, had a very disappointing season, as they won just four games during the entire regular season. Granted, the heart and soul of the team, Carson Palmer, was out with injury, but this was still a major letdown in Cincy. Palmer’s absence led to huge offensive struggles for the Cincinnati Bengals, as fill-in Ryan Fitzpatrick was a few notches below the caliber quarterback that Palmer has established himself as. The team struggled to score points, and simply couldn’t win games. Chad Ocho ... Read Full Story

He had a perfectly good name: Chad Johnson. Yet the Cincinnati Bengals receiver wanted to have “Ocho Cinco” on his back (the Spanish translation of his jersey number (85), and a trademark he uses to hawk merchandise on his website). When the NFL wouldn’t let him, Johnson went to court in Florida last summer and had his name legally changed to Ocho Cinco. Given that level of sound reasoning, it’s not a shock that he incorrectly filled out the form. He now is legally known as Ochocinco (all one word). And the NFL is holding him to it, trying not to laugh too long ... Read Full Story

Chad Ochocinco (nee Johnson) with his fake Flordia tattoo. Here is a caption. Chad Johnson , or as he now prefers to be called Chad Ochocinco, posted a new facial tattoo on Twitter, shaped like the state of Flordia. Then he announced that he was pranking the sports media world, and that the tattoos were fake. From an article at Yahoo! Sports: So, it turns out Chad isn't in the Tyson/Starbury league quite yet. The tattoos were fake. From his suddenly-hot Twitter page : The entire twitt world and media outlets got punked, that was my twitt joke from yesterday, they follow I'll have fun ... Read Full Story

While many still think that the Raiders are going to target Michael Crabtree in the April 25th draft, there are still some WR’s out there that could fill the void on the team. One such player that could be in the mix is Cincinnati’s Chad Ocho Cinco, who the Bengals probably would like to get moved. The Raiders reportedly have interest in according to a piece on PFT.com: Notwithstanding a worthlessly bogus item on bleacherreport.com indicating that the Bengals already have traded receiver Chad Ochocinco to the Raiders for running back Michael Bush and a second-round draft pick, there actually is a belief in ... Chad Ochocinco has been fined 20 large by the NFL for flashing a dollar bill at an official during a replay challenge -- a joking attempt at what the Bengals receiver referred to as a “bribe"”-- in last week’s Cincinnati-Baltimore game. In the age of Tim Donaghy, fake bribing a ref may seem kinda funny, I personally laughed, but you gotta be smarter than that. Wait, look who I’m talking about here. This is a guy who couldn’t even get the Spanish word for ‘eighty-five’ right. He’s so stupid he returns bowling balls because they have holes in them. He’s so stupid he took ... Read Full Story

“Everybody got their recorders? I want to make sure,” said the artist formerly known as Chad Johnson. And one of the most fascinating conference calls perhaps in the history of the National Football League began this morning. Out of the 32 teams in the league, you'd think they'd give at least one team one player in the Pro Bowl right?  Wrong. The Bengals, today, became one of the teams not to feature a player in this years Pro Bowl, which will be held at the end of the postseason.  Remember that kid that used to always get left out during a school yard football game during recess?  Yeah, that's how Carson Palmer must feel.  The sad thing is this time, has...
