Prince Charming Chad Michael Murray
Chad Michael Murray is an American actor, former male fashion model and teen idol. He is perhaps best known for his role as Lucas Scott in The CW series One Tree Hill.
Chad (which means warlike and warrior) Michael Murray was born in Buffalo, New York on August 24, 1981. He is the son of Rex Murray who is an air traffic controller. His mother left his family when he was 10 years old. When stationed in Japan while serving in the army, Chad's grandfather met and married a Japanese woman and eventually Chad's mother was born. Thus, he is a quarter Japanese. Although little is known about Chad’s mother he says that he still cares for her but still he believes that his Dad is the reason why he became a star and that he idolized his father so much for being brave and for raising them on his own. Chad claims he was considered a nerd and loner while attending high school. After a serious football injury in high school, a nurse suggested that he try modeling instead. Chad then took the nurse’ suggestion thus becoming a model for Tommy Hilfiger, Gucci and Sketchers before becoming an actor. Before he became a screen heartthrob Chad once worked as a janitor at Donut World for a few days; he was fired, but the reason is not known, he also once worked as a receptionist in a limousine company. Chad's first job was at the age of ten as a newspaper delivery boy. His first Hollywood break through was in Undressed which is a TV series on 2000. He also became part of the TV series Diagnosis Murder in that same year. After those TV series, projects came to Chad like there was no tomorrow. Chad started becoming a screen heartthrob in the most loved TV series Dawson’s Creek. When he was working on Dawson's Creek, Chad said that he identified most with the character Pacey, played by Josh Jackson. Chad and two of his One Tree Hill co-stars were on Dawson's Creek with him: Hilarie Burton (who plays Peyton Sawyer) and Lee Norris (who plays Mouth McFadden). His latest TV series is One Tree hill. Chad says that growing up without a mother helps him to relate to his character Lucas Scott on One Tree Hill. Chad has the messiest trailer on the set of One Tree Hill, according to his co-stars. Chad proposed to his now ex-wife Sophia Bush while filming the movie, The House of Wax. He used color light bulbs to spell out, "Will you marry me?" He also decorated the hotel room in candles. The engagement ring Chad got ex-wife Sophia Bush came from the Argyle mine in Australia. There's a rare Australian pink and a blue diamond. Chad was married to Sophia Bush in April 16, 2005, whom he met on the set of One Tree Hill. Sophia and Chad dated for almost two years before they got married. But five months later, Sophia filed court papers to have their marriage annulled when Chad admitted to Sophia that he had cheated on her. In the divorce papers Sophia cited "Fraud" as the reason for annulment. Chad wore a Ralph Lauren Black Label Suit in his April 2005 wedding to Sophia Bush. Although Chad is upset about his break-up with co-star Sophia Bush, he is determined to make things work on the set of One Tree Hill. After the divorce was finalized, Chad became engaged to Kenzie Dalton who is a former cheerleader extra on One Tree Hill. It was announced that they began seeing each other in December 2005.
