Thu, 12 Mar 2009 Former professional wrestler "Stone Cold" Steve Austin and "Buffy" actress Charisma Carpenter have joined the cast lineup of Sylvester Stallone's "The Expendables." At the present, Carpenter is the only female cast announced. She joins the all-star male cast of Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Eric Roberts, Randy Couture, Dolph Lundgren, Forest Whitaker, and Mickey Rourke. Totalfilm.com reports that she will be playing Statham's girlfriend. "The Expendables," written and will be directed by Stallone, will see a team of mercenaries on a mission to overthrow a ruthless South American dictator.
