of 2009, will reveal her face on an episode of Oprah set to air today. The enraged chimpanzee, which was eventually shot by authorities, ripped off Nash's hands, nose, lips, and eyelids during the attack.
She is being treated at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. Nash no longer has eyes, cannot currently eat solid food, and in unable to breathe through her nose.
She says that her face feels like there are "pieces of tape or gauze" on her face where the attack happened. She also says that she remembers nothing from the attack.

Charla is my special friend for 9 mos I have tried to be of any help, I am an RN I also know a lot about reconstructive plastic surgery and grafts. This lady is a real sweetheart, she didn't deserve this horrible tragic event.
Nothing she did caused it, It was simply due to the owner being frustrated by her pet(Sandra Herald) didn't feel like taking him out to play, go for a ride and ice cream, which was usual, so she fed him wine and Xanax(god knows how much?) than could not control him. Even Charla knows, that Travis would have ripped apart anyone who came up the driveway, but it was Charla Sandra called to help, not as much as alerting her to the fact that he was extremely agitated and dangerous! Sheneeded to call police and animal control. People on you tube and other places make filthy comments, blaming Charla for her injuries. How ignorant and cruel. I am here and on several other stations covering this to make it known that Charla needs support, and love. She can do without any ugly statments. Warning: No one who loves her will read her those comments, but the hospital has provided a computerized reader, which means she can and may read every single word.
