The director of "Die Hard" has pleaded guilty in federal court in Los Angeles to lying during the investigation of a Hollywood private eye. John McTiernan entered his plea Monday to two counts of making false statements to the FBI and one count of perjury for lying to a federal judge while trying to withdraw a guilty plea.
