What an honor it was to be invited to cover the Musicians Hall of Fame Awards on Monday evening. I think sometimes fans get caught up in the fame, money and outward appearance of who an artist is and we forget that the reason that these artists got started was because of their love for the music. Had the pleasure of watching Charlie Daniels at the Cherokee Indian Fall Fair . He is still pretty good for an old southern boy. I made lots of video and photos, but we were 3 rows from the stage and right in front of the mega speakers. My audio just couldn't handle it. Charlie has turned over a new life and is a much gentler and peaceful person. The video is him singing How Great Thou Art. He ended the concert with Devil Went Down to Georgia.
