Pretty amazing that the search party was able to find Fowler, given how
little information existed on his whereabouts. Charlie Fowler was
attempting a mountaineering adventure with his climbing partner
Christine Boskoff. They were traveling in China.

The body of American climber and photographer Charlie Fowler
was found buried in snow on a remote peak in China on Wednesday. His
climbing partner Christine Boskoff is still missing, but is presumed
dead.
Searchers had located a driver who had dropped the climbers off near
20,354-foot Genie Mountain, also known as Genyen Peak, not far from the
Sichuan border with Tibet. The body was located near 17,000 feet on
this peak.
