Charlie Fowler found with help from his driver

Pretty amazing that the search party was able to find Fowler, given how little information existed on his whereabouts. Charlie Fowler was attempting a mountaineering adventure with his climbing partner Christine Boskoff. They were traveling in China.

The body of American climber and photographer Charlie Fowler was found buried in snow on a remote peak in China on Wednesday. His climbing partner Christine Boskoff is still missing, but is presumed dead.

Searchers had located a driver who had dropped the climbers off near 20,354-foot Genie Mountain, also known as Genyen Peak, not far from the Sichuan border with Tibet. The body was located near 17,000 feet on this peak.
