He is best known for being the younger brother of actor Jerry O'Connell and appearing in several of his projects, including a starring role in the fourth season of the science fiction series Sliders, playing Colin Mallory.
Charlie O’Connell gives reality TV love another shot
Ah, reality TV, what long-lasting relationship you’ve wrought. Oh wait.
But former Bachelor Charlie O’Connell told PEOPLE that he and rose winner Sarah Brice are trying to make it work. He gave Brice the final rose on “The Bachelor”’s spring 2005 season. They moved in together in Los Angeles, but split in April 2008.
“Everything’s going great right now,” said O’Connell. After spending most of the summer talking on the phone, the couple are giving it another go.
“We’re not taking each other for granted,” he added. “I enjoy hanging out with her.”
The younger O’Connell already checked out some houses together last weekend, but plan to take things slowly.
“Sara and I are babysitting a friend of ours,” he says. “That’s our Friday night date.”
